Software Engineering Intern
Work involved learning PowerBuilder, and it's WEB interface, and porting already existent marketed appliations developed using PowerBuiler, and Sybase to Web using the PowerBuilder Web Interface Engine. It also involved making presentations of the issues to the company's developers.  Adviser was Dr. Ghanzafar Khan. 
 
PROJECTS
Senior Project 

Working with the Pakistan Cricket Team to develop an expert system that would help the captain of the Pakistan team make decisions. An expert system shell would be used to implement the features of artificial intelligence, and MFC routeines would be used to provide a frontend that the coach would then use to get professional guidence. See YACC (Yet Another Cricket Coach) for details.

Project for Object Oriented Design 
Implemented the popular verion the game tetris, one the X-windows system.
Course Project for Databases 
Designed and implemented a relational database system for the LUMS library with PostgreSQL as the back-end RDBMS and a Web-based front-end for queries (catalog searches, data entry, etc.) using PHP/FI. Project page: Library Project Report
Course Project for Software Engineering 
Undertook R & S and Design using structured analysis for a computerised cash receipts system for the LUMS Accounting Department
Course Project for Management Science 
Determined the optimum route for a garbage-collection truck in the Lahore Cantt Cooperative Housing Society (LCCHS) - (arc routing in a network problem, Chinese Postman Problem)
History of Pakistan and South Asia 
Research paper on the Role of middle class on the state of art today.
